Modern Phoney Spanish Colonial  8 Reales ?

I have downloaded a number of images of 8 Reales which have been advertised on eBAY as "100% genuine" and are listed at  "bargain" prices. If the price seems too good to be  true - there is a reason.

I leave it to the r
eader to  decide the similarities between these pieces
and whether (?if?) they differ from the genuine article.

Some of the more convincing pieces show post-striking processing  to simulate wear.

See ARTICLES discussing forgeries from China where they are NOT ILLEGAL!!

PLEASE DO NOT RESELL A COIN IF YOU LEARN THAT IT IS FAKE!!!
